How Fucked am I?
- 1) My wife told a wise tail, called 911 and threw me in jail:a) She took control over our kids, house, money, car, and cloths, everything….etc.b) Now I am going to “wife beater” class with a bunch of guys that ACTUALLY beat their wives!2) She kicked me out of my company and drained the Bank Accounts:a) For tax reasons I had put my company and trust/faith in my wife’s name – which she promptly kicked me out of,b) She drained over 200k from the bank accounts, money I needed to support her.c) Now the company is a cost to shut down and sort out.3) My Hot shot $600 per hour attorney could not close an early offer to give my wife 80% of the marital estate.4) Damaged my professional Reputation:a) Sprayed letters to anyone who would listen that I had “stolen” her assets and not to do5) Help onto all computer equipment so I had no way to support my family:a) My wife refused to return my entire companies computer system for close to 2 weeks while I could not do business.6) My Wife was Reading Emails:a) I learned that for the first 45 days of the Divorce she was getting copied on my emails.b) It was a great, great play from a strategic standpoint, I must give her that. It is kind of like you can be pissed about 9/11, but you got to hand it to Osama, he executed a sick but great plan.7) We have two years of unfiled taxes:a) Because my wife and I could not figure out whether to file jointly or separately we have unfiled and unpaid taxes.8) I am likely getting thrown in jail for 30 days for getting wife pregnant:a) I got my wife pregnant; now my probation office is hell bent to give the “rich white kid” 30 days in Jail for violating my “restraining order/OFP”.9) We lost $600k on foreclosed house:a) $600,000 of green dollar bills and have given our house back to the bank and cannot finance a bike.10) I just got out of rehab:a) I had planned on working 2 hrs. per day and focusing on my recovery the CEO I hired had a nervous breakdown 3.5 weeks into my 4 week “sabbatical”, pooped his pants, threw up and took his investment back leaving me short of cash “back into the frying pan.”It is crazy for divorcing couples to place their lives and their children’s in the hands of lawyers expecting them to go off settle matters to the benefit and best interests of their clients.. Lawyers take the practical problems that divorcing couples are faced with and extend them, making difficulties worse and at times unsolvable. The problem is and what I have not been able to figure out is how to stop the madness. My ordeal has been a cross between a slow motion train wreck and an inescapable dream.I think it helps to clarify things by agreeing to one single guiding principal, ONE answer to EVERY question; the correct answer should be based on following this guideline: “Whatever is in the best interest of the children.” I think the primary guiding principle for all the topics on the table is “what is in the best interest of our kids. This needs to be every divorcees mantra; this guiding principal will lead us to the truth as to what is the best solution to what has become a complicated mess.Honk if you hear me J
